2003's Fourth of July movie
A few years ago my wife and I decided to forgo the fireworks (on TV, no less) and watch a war movie instead, to commemorate what others have sacrificed for our freedoms.
Last year we saw Saving Private Ryan.
This year (a few days ahead of schedule) we watched Tears of the Sun.
War is hell.
