Female programmer's road rage

Boston Herald reports "What's the Russia?: Immigrant driver strikes cop at roadblock":

A foul-mouthed Russian immigrant late for work unleashed her rush-hour road rage yesterday morning when she bypassed a blocked street and plowed into the Weymouth police officer who tried to stop her, authorities said.

The officer got his hand wedged in her window when she rolled it up on him; got "nudged" (by her car) before she sped through a gas station, and then got bumped several times before getting tossed on the hood as she ran him down (or over, since he stayed on the hood).

My take:

Why the hell did this cop not pull out his gun and empty the clip into her head? She was as dangerous a driver can be, and she chose to behave this way.

Next time, officer, protect everyone else - kill the reckless driver.
