AppDev professional training via CD-ROM

Finished AppDev's ASP.NET training (the first section, which they "gave away" for US$10) yesterday.

Fairly unimpressed. The instructor had the kindergarten teacher tone of voice, pointed out very obvious things ("press F4 to get the properties window" - that hasn't changed since VB3?), and was just plain cringe-worthy to listen to.

Then there was the AppDev UI. Non-standard Windows interface, somewhat buggy (it skipped chapters on me a few times), the CD's autorun did not check whether the program was installed or not, and to top it off, the UI sucked up 25% of my system resources. I could not run any other program safely on W98SE while using the training.

Oh yeah, it also ran in a 640x480 window - its maximum size.
