Bus ticket irony

Used the last of my Metro bus tickets today. I had bought an ORCA card, and used it a few times. I wanted to burn through the rest of my two-zone tickets while I still had a reason to use them (cough job security issues cough).

And guess who was the bus driver looking at my transfer slip? The same lady who gave me a hard time a few months ago about not having the local bus driver clip the "2-zone" box on my transfer. This is only the second or third time I have seen her drive my route.

She scrutinized the last transfer I hope to use for a long time. And of course she asked "Is that a two-zone transfer?"

Yes, you annoyingly legalistic county employee, it is.
