...then why is it acceptable to inflate a corporation's awards in their job listings?

Found this gem on Ramp's Find A Career page:

Uh, no. Ramp is on the INC 5000 list, not the INC 500. Specifically, they are #552.

Last time I checked, 552 > 500.

Yes, it does make a difference. Especially for a code shop.
