How to leave a message, because some people do not know any better

If you call my home or cell phone, there are a few things you need to know. Since both Home Depot's Bellevue, WA store and an unknown gentleman (calling from (425) 235-9919) are apparently a little foggy on the details, I decided to give them some public assistance.

First: if the announcement you hear just before you leave your message does not include the name "Melissa", it is safe to assume that there is no one named Melissa at that particular phone number. Calling and hanging up repeatedly only makes us wonder if you can actually grasp the concept of people not being named Melissa.

Second: if you hear the voice mail announcement in English, and not in Hindi, it is safe to assume that leaving a voice mesage in Hindi will not garner a response.

Thank you for your attention.
