2010 candidates
No, not the mid-term elections 6 years hence. I just completed 2010 (it was 2000, but it changed before my very eyes) candidates on the D2OL (Drug Design Optimization Lab) grid computing client.
In other words, my Linux computer has just helped calculate 2,010 possible drug candidates "against Anthrax, Smallpox, Ebola and SARS and other potentially devastating infectious diseases." In the background, not interfering with my work (as soon as I learned about the nice command).
Very cool.
