Yes, it appears that Python and wxWidget/wxPython truly are cross-platform.
Unfortuneately, Pyana was so difficult to build as to be impossible to use - so I am forced to load BODI in Windows to upload content.
But I can! And I can share the data file between Linux and Windows.
