How blogs are seen - by China
Dangerously, as it appears.
I would have happily quoted the AP's article "China shuts down Internet blogs" as printed in Straits Times Interactive, but neither AP nor STI use permalinks or worthwhile search engines.
So we go to the source - a Tennessean (my pardon if I'm spelling it wrong) living in China, whose weblog was shut down by "meddling bureaucrats." ( Are there any other kind?)
Read all about it in chronological order:
- Keep the ride open
- Chinese language blog services shut down
- Blocked?
- Blocked China blog services see daylight again
- Typepad, Blogs.com fall victim to meddling bureaucrats
