Ideas for this weblog

Someone recently mentioned that they hadn't seen an update in a while, so here goes.

Since I wrote the software behind this weblog, I get to put in new features. Good news, I control when and how the features get implemented. Bad news - well, uh, the same?

I have no programming staff save the ten fingers in front of me. And my brain. Gotta remember my brain.

So my ideas are thus:

  • blogroll tied to each date.

The blogroll on the index is the sum of all active blog subscriptions. And for any date, there is a list of the current ones, and maybe a notification of adding or subtracting one.

  • bloglink as a separate item in weblog

I would also like a set of bloglinks, and to keep them separate from but easily accessible to the date. Basically they're a separate type of weblog entries, with an emphasis on short, easy-to-update information.
