When it comes to purchasing a car using Ford or Chrylser financing, beware:
Within a week of each other, two readers complained about getting privacy policies in the mail from the financing arms of Ford and DaimlerChrysler, both of which fail to offer an opt-out mechanism. (emphasis mine)
So if you want to keep your personal information private, don't get financing from Ford or Chrysler.
