Halfwit Highway Patrol - Bellevue

Audi Allroad wagon, WA license "TAHITI", in a license plate holder emblazoned "Woodland Travel", 30 minutes ago on NE 24th St in Bellevue, WA.

This gentlemen had a hard time understanding traffic lights. First he ignored the green, waiting several seconds until moving forward (I was ahead of him, rolling my eyes). Then, he sped in front of me, and almost made it through the red light.

Almost.

My favorite part of my new "Halfwit Highway Patrol" is watching idiots who are too obedient to run a red but too stupid to just keep going when they're completely in the intersection. That's what today's halfwit did - his car was completely in the intersection, after he came to an emergency stop.

Look, numbnuts, it's high noon on the last shopping Sunday before Christmas - and you're not in a retail area! If you can't pay attention to the traffic light enough to stop in time, why pay attention at all? The careful drivers will stay out of your way - and the poor ones salivate at your shiny Audi with custom plates. Money to burn!

But not a lot of brain cells to accompany them...
