When does 45 out of 503 equal 69?
When it's the weight of books I have removed from my personal library (statistics courtesy SimpleShelf - the count, not the weight).
We're moving soon, so I "exit-catalogued" the books I no longer want (another feature of SimpleShelf - I got to find someone else to help me shill). 69 pounds, almost two full moving boxes, a full shelf and then some.
Sixty-nine pounds.
The freaky thing? All three times I stepped on the scale (calibration, hernia-inducing batch, leftovers), the weight ended in .8.
