Zero sum games and networks

I like what Kelly Lefkowitz had to say about considering a trading market a "zero-sum game" in this post on Ryze's Web of Finance network.

Rather than thinking of currency trading as a zero sum game... think of it as a network. When someone joins the network to trade currency, it increases the value of the network. Then all the players of the network set out to increase their value.
