Negotiating skills? That's what "Microsoft's Faustian bargains" on News.com sez.

I like the gist of the article, so I'll boil it down to fit my bias: if Microsoft were to compete on technical aspects instead of maze-like contracts, they'd lose. Big time.

Think about that the next time you look at a software license.
