Age isn't important

So many things so wrong in "89-year-old is among oldest ever imprisoned", courtesy obscurestore.

I'll just focus on one (must. keep. righteous. indignation. in. check.). Subtract 60 years from Lucille Keppen's age, and see if that changes the fact that she got angry with someone over money and respect, stuck her gun in her purse, went looking for him, and shot him.

To me, it doesn't. If her attorney argues "It's going to amount to a death sentence to Ms. Keppen," what do you think the bullets amounted to for her victim?

Don't want to die in jail? Don't shoot people.

At 89 years of age, one should already know that.
